Latifa Al Khalifa
Curator and Founder, Enchanté
Latifa Al Khalifa is a curator, writer and Fora travel advisor based in Bahrain. For fifteen years she has curated exhibitions and cultural programmes across the Gulf and the wider SWANA region, with credits at Art Dubai, Misk Art Institute, Edge of Arabia and RAK Art Foundation, where she directed The Art Station, and she has worked with the Diriyah Biennale.
Her writing has been published by Art Basel, Tribe and Khaleejesque, and she has taught visual culture at the American University of Bahrain. She holds an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries from King's College London.
Enchanté grew out of that work. Latifa knows the fairs from the inside: which openings matter, which galleries to see first, and how a week in Abu Dhabi, Doha or Marrakech actually runs. She designs each itinerary herself, and works in both Arabic and English. Hotels are booked through Fora, with Fora and Virtuoso benefits, and trusted local partners meet clients on the ground.
